Redesign My Blog

Normally don't post on Fridays, as I'm sure you know.  And this won't be a long one (although I didn't want to leave Duane with my last post being on Tim Tebow).  


I'm having a bitch of a time finding a web designer.  I figured I might as well take advantage of my international appeal and see if any designers are reading this, or maybe there are folks out there who know of one.  Here is what I want:


I want to update and connect my three websites, redesigning my blog to be more in line with the other two (http://www.joeclifford.com/ and (http://www.lipservicewest.com/), and having it all coming off my main site (joeclifford.com).  (I'm OK with the design of the two websites, by and large; the blog looks amateurish and I would need to re do it).  The main things I'm looking for are that the blog retains a lot of the features and widgets, keeping the Total Page Views (a big selling point w/ prospective publishers) and adding a feature that would allow me to track individual readership (but not in a creepy way).  The most important thing is having Content Site Management, since I can't write code and need to update these three sites daily.


I've been sending that out to designers all week, and while I've talked with a few guys who might work, I thought I should cast the net a little wider before I make my decision.  I have money; this isn't a charity thing.  But I ain't paying $5,000 either (one of the quotes I received).

With a little ampersand in the middle there.  Basically, I need this shit imported, or exported, or whatever the fuck the geek speak is for that sort of thing, into Wordpress or the like so it doesn't looked like a douchehooker designed it (thank you for that one, Annie), allowing me to make updates without having to grovel and kvetch to the powers that be (i.e., those who speak HTML).

I would check out Laughing Squid: I looked into them in the past and they looked like a good deal with a lot of resources, and they're local. They're hosting, but they have resources for all the other end, too, like importing your wordpress blog, etc. And to start, you can import your entire blogger blog into wordpress easy peasy and choose a template and even buy your .com name for a negligible fee.
